Bulgaria, located on the Black Sea coast, has several important seaports that play a key role in its trade and economy. Some of the most important ports in Bulgaria are:
- Port of Varna – It is the largest seaport in Bulgaria, located on the northern coast of the Black Sea. The Port of Varna serves both cargo and passenger ships and plays an important role in international trade and cruise tourism.
- Port of Burgas – This port is also located on the Black Sea coast and is the second largest port in Bulgaria. Port of Burgas serves cargo ships, oil tankers and industrial vessels and plays a key role in the country’s energy and oil and gas infrastructure.
- Port of Ruse – Located on the Danube River, the Port of Ruse is an important river port in Bulgaria. The Port of Ruse serves mainly river cargo traffic and has access to international trade routes across the Danube.
