Cameroon, located in West Central Africa, has several important sea and river ports that play an important role in its trade and economy. Some of the most important ports in Cameroon are:
- Port of Douala – The Port of Douala is the largest seaport in Cameroon, located on the East Atlantic coast. The Port of Douala is a major trading hub and caters for both container and cargo ships and plays an important role in the country’s exports and imports.
- Port of Kribi – This port, also known as the Kribi Complex, is one of the most modern ports in the region and serves both container and cargo ships.
- Port of Limbe – Located in the southern part of the country and plays an important role in the transport of oil and other products.
- Port of Garoua – Located on the Benue River and is an important inland port for Cameroon, transporting goods to the interior of the country.
