Cape Verde is a group of islands in the Atlantic Ocean located off the west coast of Africa. This country has several ports that play an important role in trade and communication with the outside world. Some of the most important ports in Cape Verde are:
- Port of Praia – This is the main seaport on the island of São Tiago, which is the largest island in the country. The Port of Praia handles both cargo and passenger vessels and also plays a key role in international trade.
- Port of Mindelo – Located on the island of San Vicente and is the second largest port in the country. The Port of Mindelo also provides important transport links and plays a role as a trading hub.
- Port of Palmeira – This port on the island of Sal is primarily used for commercial purposes and to service fishing vessels.
